She was born in the heart of the Minho region, in Barcelos, with the melody, rhythm and music always latent inside her “little box”.
Between 1996 and 2001, she went to the Music Conservatory of Barcelos, where she studied piano.
After taking a break and studying other areas of her interest, she returned to the musical universe in 2008 – a year that would end up bringing many achievements. She took part in several initiatives proposed by the Cultural Department of her city, such as the Festival de Bandas de Barcelos or the Encontro de Jovens Fadistas Barcelenses, and participated in several musical projects as an interpreter and composer.
From 2008 to 2010, she lent her voice to Dr. Armando Caldas’ compositions, taking part, in 2009, in Braga’s Great Night of Fado, where she achieved second place. In the following year, she conquered the first place with the song "Sabe-se Lá".
In 2013, she took part in the Grande Gala de Fado do Porto, overtaking the audience from Teatro Sá da Bandeira with the song "Amor de Mel, Amor de Fel", by Amália Rodrigues, and winning the first place.
Never not carrying along the black shawl, and always paying respect to the herritage she carries, she has performed hundreds of shows all over the country and beyond, taking Fado music to Spain, France and Germany. Amália Rodrigues, Maria Teresa de Noronha, Alfredo Marceneiro and Fernando Maurício are some of her main references.
In 2007, she released her first álbum, “Identidade”, an invitation to a trip through her Fado main references.
